Action is hard to maintain. It can be hard to stay active working on one thing. Unless you stop them, barriers in your mind rise by themselves. Your active mode gets killed by sleepyness, distractions, your habit to check email etcetera.
The cure to passivity is often as simple as stepping outdoor for two minutes to breathe some fresh air and think about what you are doing. While you're taking the break, choose what you're going to focus on when you start working again.
Make the two minute break a habit. It has all the ingredients of an action that you'll be able to perform regularly and it makes you stay alert, happy and focused and you'll feel organized and efficient.
